My boyfriend just graduated from UGA with his MBA and is moving to LA for a job. I want to make him like a going away gift basket with things to take to remember Athens/me by. So far I have a picture of the two of us in a frame, a stuffed GA bulldawg, A picture of Terry business school (the MBA school at UGA), and a box of mac and cheese mix (something i always make for him). Any ideas of what else i could put in it? business stuff maybe? I’m open to any unique/cute/thoughtful ideas. Any guys out there who could tell me what they would like from their girl?

I would like to put together a wine basket for my brother for x-mas who loves all kinds of wine a good cheeses.I live in a small town in Ohio so no access to imported stores, and I like to make it personal by not ordering a ready to go gift basket. So what good(not brake the bank) wines should I put in it,I know he loves Cabernet Sauvignon, and port, but I have no idea when it comes to names and don’t want to ask not to apoil the suprise. And what else besides the wine,I mean a mini wine rack or a single wine holder or a decanter?Cheese and cracker,or cheese and a nice cheese cutter set? What would make a perfect wine lover’s basket after all. Thanks in advance.

I know the postal regulations say they can’t accept cash or anything valued over $20… I am on first name basis with my postal carrier and she really goes out of her way for me. I want to give her something nice that she will actually keep/use.
I personally would be nervous to eat anything homemade, even if it was from someone I talk to daily. I’m sure the post office gets a lot of food they throw away. Last year I brought the post office a big gift basket of panera bagels and cream cheese, but even then I worry they just threw it all out.

I’m thinking of the packages of cheese wedges (Laughing Cow), and also things like the cheese balls that come in holiday gift baskets. They don’t need to be refrigerated until the package is opened, then they do. Why is that?

Came in a gift basket with crackers, sausage, etc. it was in a container like cream cheese, looked like cream cheese, no it wasn’t cream cheese haha It was solid white, soft, spread like room temperature butter. It wasn’t spicy or hot, just mild.

My boyfriend and I have been together for about 6 months. I am going to get his parents something for Xmas but have no idea what to get and the boyfriend is no help. I’m thinking just a gift basket with a bunch of random stuff. All I can think of so far is sausage and cheese and maybe a gift card for somewhere out to eat. Any other suggestions? I’m on a budget as well. Thanks!
