My sister-in-law (my brother’s wife) is just a vegetarian and thinks that vegans are crazy since they do not use any animal products at all.
She has a vegan co-worker that is leaving for a new job and the workplace is throwing her a going away party (for the co-worker).
She does not like this girl. She wants to give her a gift basket that includes a jar of organic honey, a wool hat and scarf set, some brie cheese, a box of tea leaves, two small loaves of french bread, and a bees wax candle!!

a holiday basket that you would enjoy. I’m already buying sugar free cookies, candies and chocolate for the holiday baskets I’m making for my family. My father was diagnosed with diabetes so I’ve decided to give EVERYONE a diabetic gift basket. are summer sausages out? what about cheese?
I always give baskets of baked goodies. In my family it’s very hard to shop for. We all are the type of people who buy ourselves what we want, so I like to give home made gifts and baked goodies. Not sure if I mentioned but these are baskets for Christmas….doesn’t everyone like foodie baskets for the holidays?

ok people- gimme some ideas…My family is largely located on the Gulf Coast, and seems to keep getting hit by hurricanes, power outages, tornados, etc.
What would you use as a “basket” and what would you put in it?
I was thinking a clothes basket with things like a small radio, batteries, pop-top cans of food, juice, flashlights, bottles of water, granola bars, cheese/ crackers, etc…
All you yankees- think days without power in a snowstorm, except hot and wet outside!

Hi there! My boyfriend is leaving for college in about a month, and I’d like to get him a really special gift before he leaves. I’m all out of cheesey romantic ideas, so I thought of a Netflix subscription. He’s a big movie-buff and the college is out in the middle of nowhere, so he’ll probably be in need of some entertainment. Is this a good gift? Guys, would you enjoy this gift? Would he rather just purchase the DVDS to keep? (His house is filled with his and his brothers movies.) Any other suggestions? Thanks!
