I think I’ve asked this question before, but this is what I wrote, when I was in 3rd grade. I was so proud of it, it inspired me to write actual real stories. Now I look back on it and realize what a big imagination I really had back then ;] (READ: you don’t have to read the bottom part, just if you want a good laugh) :

I have to narrow down the list of services that a business has to offer at least for the first year? So tell me which one of these services would you want to be available or which ones do you think there will be a great demand for???
1. Wedding cakes or party cakes made out of whole cheeses and decorated beautifully?
2. Wine and champagne fountains for weddings and parties?
3 Chocolate fountains with an accompanying display of fruits, cakes etc. to be dipped?
4. Fruit and vegetable carvings and sculptures to awaken buffets at weddings and parties?
5. A photo guest book with a photographer to take instant photos at your event while your guest write their comments?
6. Wedding favors, gifts and accessories?
7. Gif baskets (fruit, cheese&wine, Cheese&meat, chocolate&candy etc)?
8. Corporate drop off catering (boxed breakfast, lunches and assorted platters)?

I’ve asked this question before, but i only got one answer!
Me and my boyfriend have been going out 8 months, and his birthday is coming up so i decided to get a massive basket full of gifts.
So far i’ve got:
- Muffins (he loves them)
- Brie cheese (he loves that too)
- boxers
- Boys aftershave
- A poster
- Condoms
- a notebook (for him to write his lyrics in)
- a headmassager (he won’t leave mine alone!)
.
Any other ideas? I’m really stuck and i would appreciate any ideas you have.

I will be baking my gifts this year again. I will bake 12-15 varieties baked goods. Last year, I put the different treats into zip-lock sandwich bags and placed them into decorated, woven baskets. I thought it looked a tad bit tacky as I hastily put them together. My treats have to be seperate; they include: Cheese&chive puff pastry balls, Macadamia nut brittle, White and dark chocolate almond bark, Monteray Jack and Jalapeno cornbread mini muffins, assorted cookies, and banana nut bread. HELP! Everyone will get the whole variety.

Seriously, I was reading this thing about how the government is concerened that people dont have any money to shop so tehy wont make enough money in sales tax revenue. Wouldnt it make sense for us ALL to not buy in to the hype of buying stuff that you dont need, lets face it if you dont get everything you wnat for xmas, you wont die, will you? Think of all the stuff that is getting recalled from china, dont you think there will be more? And we are supposed to give it to our kids? Tainted with e-coli cheeses and sausages taht you give in a gift basket?
I just think it would be Awesome if everyone would say ENOUGH and not buy into it this year!

I have been planning to make “treat baskets” full of homemade goodies as presents for my co-workers this holiday season. However, outside vendors have been sending gift baskets galore full of cookies, candies, etc. and thought it might be a better idea to make things that weren’t sweet (i.e- cheese truffles, salsa roll-ups, etc) that do not have to be served hot or warm, can be individually packaged to give as “gifts”, and are not difficult or expensive to make. I am having trouble coming up with many ideas or recipes. Suggestions?

Ok, really weird question: swiss colony (online) has a gift basket of meat strips (i’m assuming they’re like jerky or somethin’?) Do you think they’re yucky? I’m ordering petite fours from their website to send to my boyfriend who is in college, and wanted to get something else to go with it. He likes jerky..I think..lol. Anyway, do you think that these “meat strips” are probably not worth getting? Do they look good or nasty to you? Any comments would be great!
